What is kickboxing?

Fun, fitness, stress relief, music, making friends - that's kickboxing pointfighting for beginners and advanced players.

What can you expect during training?

The Kickboxing-Pointfighting division of Team München is a member of the BAKU e.V. and teaches the WAKO standards. The classes are taught by Claudia, a licenced trainer with 2nd Dan Kickboxing.

What is your organisation?

The training follows the rules and regulations of the association, the WAKO Germany. Full, compliant equipment is required for training. This equipment is designed to ensure the safety and protection of all participants. This will be explained during the training session, and participants should purchase the equipment during the first few months of membership if they do not already own it.

What is the equipment in detail?

T-shirt + long trousers. Dental protection, head protection (padded on top), boxing gloves 10 OZ, shin guards, separate kickboots closed on all sides, groin protection (men, women optional), chest protection women. Protective equipment is worn under clothing.

The first two lessons of the ‘trial training’ are also possible without membership or equipment.
