FAQ
What you can expect?
If you’re looking for a fast sport with nice people, then you’ve come to the right place!
We welcome players of all levels – von Anfänger:innen bis Liga Spieler:innen. We offer training times with guided training or independent play.
We are always happy to welcome new players for our men’s and women’s league teams. n addition, we are always involved in gay and lesbian tournaments! Also very popular is our training camp in Inzell, which we organise regularly.
However, the focus is not only on sport, but also on socialising: after training, we meet up in a relaxed atmosphere in one of the pubs near the hall.
What do I need to know before my first training session?
You can join us at any time without prior notice. Just turn up on one of the training days with sports clothing and a table tennis bat. By the way – you can also borrow a racket to try it out.
If you enjoy training with us, we will ask you after two training sessions whether you would like to join the club on a permanent basis. If you are already a member of Team München, you can play with us anyway.
What can you expect from supervised training?
During supervised training (thursday 7 – 8.30 pm), targeted exercises are used to focus on basic strokes (blocking/backspin/topspin), coordination, technique training and serve training, among other things. The training is led by experienced league players and is aimed at both beginners and advanced players.
Independent play takes place at all the other times.
