We stand for inclusion.
Sport thrives on diversity, fairness and community. However, many LGBTQI+ individuals still face exclusion, whether through discriminatory language or structural barriers. Our club is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and can participate equally. We believe that diversity enriches sport, strengthens communities and improves team performance.
In collaboration with the EGLSF and other European queer sports clubs and institutions, supported by the European Union, we are working on the Erasmus+ project, '+PLUSS'. The project aims to promote inclusivity and combat discrimination in European amateur sport. By connecting European partners and fostering a deeper understanding of inclusion mechanisms, '+PLUSS' is helping to establish a sports culture that welcomes and supports LGBTQI+ individuals.
We are pleased to present the project's results, which aim to make European amateur sports more inclusive for LGBTQI+ athletes.
A team for all genders
Trans* people often face obstacles in sport - from invisibility and discrimination to a lack of recognition of their identity. At the same time, there are many positive examples of how inclusion and the visibility of trans* athletes enrich teams and clubs. For us, it's the person that counts - not the gender.
In our club, respectful coexistence is paramount. Everyone should have the freedom to experience sport in a way that suits their identity. Respect, tolerance, and mutual support lie at the heart of our club life.

Your place with us
At our club, sport brings people together, diversity is celebrated, and everyone is welcome. We welcome anyone who wants to get involved and become part of our community.
Protection and prevention against sexual violence.
We stand for creating a safe space for everyone. At Team Munich, we want everyone to feel safe, respected and welcome. We look out for each other, treat each other with respect, and establish clear boundaries.
Sexual violence and any form of harassment are not tolerated in our club, whether in training, at events or outside of sport.
We as Team Munich do not tolerate any form of sexual harassment and assault!
We recognise that this is a sensitive issue, and that those affected need a great deal of courage to speak out. Studies show that many athletes in Europe have already experienced boundary violations. This is precisely why it is important for us to pay attention, speak openly, and take responsibility together.
Team Munich is actively committed to prevention and education. We promote an open culture of dialogue, taking everyone seriously, and we create structures that enable protection and trust.
If you need support
If you have experienced something at Team Munich that made you feel uncomfortable, know that you are not alone. You can contact a member of the board in confidence at any time – simply choose the person you trust the most. Your account will be taken seriously and treated with respect.

Respect, trust and mutual consideration form the basis of our interactions. We all play a part in ensuring that Team Munich remains a place where everyone feels safe, seen and welcome. True team spirit also means being there for each other, both in sport and beyond.
Sexual assault will not be tolerated by Team Munich!
