What is Nia?

Nia® was originally developed in the USA and is a holistic movement training programme that combines elements of dance, martial arts and body therapy. It strengthens the body, expands one's range of movement, promotes expressive potential and supports inner balance.

With flowing, powerful yet playful movements, Nia® promotes the joy of movement, mindfulness and well-being.

Nia® is suitable for everyone - regardless of age, body shape or previous experience.

What can I expect on Wednesdays?

Many participants report that they feel clearer and more connected to themselves and their body after a Nia® class. They return to everyday life with more lightness, joie de vivre and inner peace.

We move together to music. You perform the movements in a way that feels good and harmonious for you. Come, let's dance Nia® together! Discover Nia® as a way to move, relax and do something for your physical vitality.

What do I need to bring to training?

All you need is yourself and comfortable clothes that you can move around in. We usually dance barefoot, in winter we also like to dance with socks. A water bottle and a small towel are also useful - sweating is sometimes part of it.
