Table Tennis

League results

We have been taking part in the Bavarian Table Tennis Association league since 2013.

First the ladies registered a team, then the men followed suit. We currently have one women's team (district class A) and three men's teams (district classes C and D) in the Oberbayern Mitte district.

The league starts again

The Women have this time two teams for the District class registered. With nine teams, the round is surprisingly large, with not only Blumenau joining us as a relegated team, but also two newly registered teams from Schwabhausen and Forstenried.

The men also have two teams at the start this time. The team Men I plays like last season in the District class C. With some of the team's regulars missing at the moment, it will be exciting to see how well this team can perform. The team Men II finished second last season and was therefore eligible for promotion. Due to the aforementioned cancellations in Team I, we decided against promotion and are therefore back in the District class D to.

You can find all the matches here: Appointment calendar

We look forward to welcoming fans to our matches!

Review of the 2021/22 season

In contrast to the previous season, the last season 2021/22 was at least able to take place, albeit with only "half" the programme.
There was a longer "coronavirus break" between the end of November and the beginning of March; ultimately, only the first half of the season could be played until Easter. Nevertheless, promotion and relegation were played out.

The women's team achieved an outstanding second place in the district class A, losing only to the champions from FC Bayern II. The best players were Antje (9th place in the
league ranking), Natascha (10) and Sibylle (12). That speaks for a very balanced team performance.

For the men's team I, it was a question of maintaining the class in the district class C in view of the many long-term absences of our top players. This was achieved with 8th place out of ten teams. The best players here were Chris (4), Leo (12) and Dietmar (28).

The men's team II played in the north group of the BK D for the first time and was immediately able to record a great success: With 2nd place, promotion to the district class C was achieved! This means that they will play in the same class as Team II next season. They won all their matches except the one against the champions from Eintracht Karlsfeld. The best players were Leo (3), Ernst (6) and Iulian (11).

Team III played its first rated season in the BK D and achieved a good fifth place. The best players here were Beate (13), Heiko (16) and Natascha (18). As you can see from the list, it is our ladies who are always very successful in the men's team and are happy to "help out" in view of the often short squad.

Overall, this is a very good result for all teams.

Start of the 2021/2022 season

Last year, the league was cancelled in November due to corona and there was no ranking, i.e. there were no promotions and relegations. Now it can start again and we are back with three men's and one women's team. Fans and spectators are also allowed again (with 3G rule).

In clickTT you will find an overview of all datesas well as the current tables and fixtures:

Ladies (District Class A Group 1 Dachau/Munich North)

Men I (District Class C Group 3 Munich-West)

Men II (District Division D Group 2 Dachau/Munich North)

Men III (District class D Group 1 Dachau/Munich North)

We are starting the 2020/2021 league with one women's and three men's teams

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the league can start.

The current hygiene concepts apply! Spectators are unfortunately not allowed at the moment (as of 11.9.2020)!

Review of the 2019/20 season

The 2019/20 season was cancelled on 13 March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Bavarian Table Tennis Association has decided to evaluate the season and not to cancel it. This means that, as always, there are final tables - the standings from 13 March apply.

The women's team played eight out of ten match days and achieved an excellent second place out of 6 teams, i.e. the runner-up title. The best players were Antje (4th place in the league rankings), Sibylle (8th) and Natascha (10th).

The men's team I came third out of 12 teams in the district class C. That was also an excellent result. Only the two promoted teams were better than us!

In addition, San even achieved first place (out of 97 players!) in the league rankings. In the end, he had 31:5 victories to his name. The other league ranks: Chris (9), Heike (17), Hanns (24)

The men's team II also performed significantly better than last season, finishing 7th out of 12 teams this year in the midfield of district class D. The best players here were Iulian (30th), Dietmar (35th) and Frank (39th). The best players here were Iulian (30th), Dietmar (35th), Christian (36th) and Frank (39th). That speaks for a very balanced team!

Overall, that's a very good result. Overall, this is probably the best result across all teams since we started the league.

Even if you can't imagine that at the moment: There will be a regular season in 2020/21. Due to the very large squad, we are thinking of registering a third men's team next season.

We would especially like to thank our two team captains Natascha and Hanns and of course Claudia, our reliable scribe and loyal fan.

We hope that the next season can take place as planned - we are ready!

Preliminary results of the 2019/20 season

The 2019/20 season began last September and, as in the previous season, Team München is taking part in the BTTV tournament with a total of three teams. The two men's teams are competing in their sixth season, while the women's team is already in its seventh season. All teams are playing in the same division as in the previous season.

The preliminary round was completed in the old year. Our women's team once again performed the best overall and is in a very good second place in the district class A at the halfway stage behind the high favourites Blumenau. Sibylle (7th place), Natascha (10th) and Beate (14th) achieved the best placings in the league rankings.

Things also went very well for the men's team I in the district class C. After the preliminary round, the team is in third place out of twelve participants and is just behind the two promotion places. San (2nd place), Chris (4th place) and Hanns (11th place) are the best ranked players in the league.

The men's team II was able to strengthen itself with two new players and unfortunately only occupies eleventh place at the halfway point in the district class D. Dietmar (22), newcomer Frank (24) and Christian (25) have achieved the best rankings here.

The second half of the season starts very early this year with a home match for the men on Tuesday, 7 January 2020 against PSV München. The women's first match of the second round will then also take place at home on Tuesday, 21 January 2020 against TTC München-Nord. The venue for both matches is the secondary school gym at Implerstraße 35, starting at 7.30 pm.

Start of the 2019/2020 season

We are again participating with one women's and two men's teams. There are 9 women and 13 men registered for our teams.

In clickTT you will find an overview of all datesas well as the current tables and fixtures:

Ladies (District Class A Group 1 Dachau/Munich North)

Men 1 (District Class C Group 3 Munich-West)

Men 2 (District class D group 4 Munich-West)

Our first game is on Tuesday 17 September at 7.30pm at Implerstr. 35 and we are looking forward to welcoming fans!

Table tennis ladies finish runners-up

In April, the Table tennis season 2018/2019  in the BTTV's match programme has come to an end. It was the sixth season for the women and the fifth for the men.

This year's highlight was provided by our Ladies team in district class A, group 1, where it was able to secure second place and thus the Championship runner-up and even inflicted the only defeat on the champions TSV Bergkirchen! Team Munich also had the best player in the entire league, Antje. The other places in the league player rankings: Sibylle (6th place) and Natascha (8th).

The two Men's teams played in new, significantly different leagues after the BTTV district reform. Team I was therefore unable to capitalise on last year's promotion and played in the significantly stronger District C Group 3 compared to the previous year's Kreisliga, where we achieved a good 6th place - despite the departure of our strongest player by far, Gilton. We were excellently represented in the league with our two top players Weihua (ranked 2nd) and San (4th). Heike also achieved a very good 8th place. Team II did not have to be relegated after all due to the reform and played in District Class D Group 4, where they achieved a respectable 8th place and thus performed significantly better than in the previous season. The best players here were Christian (ranked 10th), Dietmar (17th) and Heiko (36th).

After the summer break, the new 2019/20 season will start in September. All teams will remain in their current divisions and will certainly have the ambition to do even better. But of course they will continue to train until then: Mondays at 7.30 pm, Tuesdays at 7.00 pm and Wednesdays at 6.00 pm (except during the summer holidays). Just come and join us! We are also always looking for players to join our teams.

Preliminary results of the 2018/19 season

Following the reorganisation of the table tennis districts in the summer, all teams are now playing in the Oberbayern Mitte district. Team München is back with one women's and two men's teams.

At the halfway stage, the women's team is in a good third place out of 5 teams in the District Class A. With Antje, Team Munich has the most successful player in the entire league with 10:1 victories. Natascha is also in an excellent third place in the ranking!

This year, the men's team I is competing in the district class C and is in sixth place out of 10 teams after the preliminary round. Despite the departure of top player Gilton, this is a good position and it should be possible to stay in the league. And Team Munich also has the most successful player here: Chris is the clear leader in the league rankings with 17:1 wins! Further placings: Hanns (8th) and San (11th).

This year, the men's team II found themselves in district class D, where they finished eighth out of 11 teams. Christian (8th place), Heiko (12th) and Dietmar (17th) achieved the best rankings here.

The second half of the season begins with a home game for the women against SV Lohhof on Tuesday, 15 January 2019. The first men's home game will take place a week later on 22 January 2019 against Maxvorstadt II. The venue for both games is the Mittelschule gym at Implerstraße 35, starting at 7.30 pm.

Training starts in the new year on 7 January 2019 at 19:30 in the hall on Wallstraße. From Wednesday, 9 January 2019, supervised training will take place there again every week from 18:00 - 19:30, still under the proven leadership of our former player and qualified co-trainer Gilton.
Just drop by - hobby players are just as welcome as experienced, ambitious players to strengthen our teams (contact: tischtennis@teammuenchen.de).

Preliminary results of the 2018/19 season

On 20 April, the 2017/2018 table tennis season came to an end with a home match in the presence of our club board. After all teams finished in the midfield of their respective leagues last season, this year they competed in the same leagues - albeit with very different results.

The Ladies team once again competed in the Dachau/Munich North District in the 1st District League and achieved fourth place. There were many close and exciting matches this year in the very evenly matched league. In the end, there were only 5 points between the champions and the last-placed team. As in the previous year, the best players were Antje (5th place in the player rankings), Sibylle (8th) and Natascha (10th).

The two Men's teams played their fourth season in the Munich West district. For Team II did not fare so well in the West Group right from the start - partly due to the departure of an important player. Unfortunately, they ended up in penultimate place and thus relegated. The best players were Hanns (only second round, 27th place) and Christian (52nd).

In contrast, the performance of Team I in the South Group. Despite the departure of two key players, the team won the championship unchallenged and was thus promoted. A five-point lead over the runners-up and only one defeat this season speak for themselves. The best players were Gilton (1), San (2), Heike (4) and Chris (6). The rankings clearly show the dominance of our team. Newcomer Gilton from Uganda, our first refugee in the team, was a key factor in our success in the second half of the season. He quickly settled into our division and is now also our new and very experienced coach!

After the summer break, the new season will start in September. There will be a major district reform in the Bavarian Table Tennis Association; for this reason, our men's teams will compete in district classes C and D of the new Oberbayern Mitte district. For the women's team, on the other hand, the league allocation is still open.

But of course training will continue until then: Mondays at 7.30 pm, Tuesdays at 7 pm and Wednesdays at 6 pm (except during the Whitsun and summer holidays). Just come and join us! We are also always looking for players to join our teams.

Table tennis: preliminary round results of the 2017/18 season

In the 2017/18 season, 3 teams from Team-München will once again be competing in the BTTV leagues: The women in the 1st Kreilsiga Dachau/Munich North, the men with two teams in the district Munich-West in the 4th KL South and 4th KL West.

The women's team is in a good third place after the preliminary round, level on points with second-placed Lohhof. The runners-up spot is therefore still within their grasp, with only 2 points separating them from the league leaders. The best players are Antje (4th place in the players' ranking list) and Natascha (5th).

Unfortunately, Team II did not perform quite as well as last year and finished in last place, tied on points with the penultimate team. The reasons for this performance are, on the one hand, the loss of players and, on the other hand, the absence of important players due to injuries or longer absences. However, things are looking up for the second half of the season, so staying in the league should be a realistic goal.

The best players in Team II are Hans (league ranking 35), Antje (38) and Stefan (44).

For the men's team I, the situation is exactly the opposite: They are the superior league leaders, with a 4-point lead over their two closest rivals and only one draw and 9 wins. This performance is all the more astonishing given that two key players left the team before the start of the season. Of course, the only goal for the second half of the season can be the championship and promotion.

The best players of Team I are San, Heike and Chris, who occupy places 1-3 of a total of 52 players in the league ranking!

The second half of the season begins with a home match between men's team I and fourth-placed TTC 1992 III on Friday, 12 January 2018.

The first training session of the new year will take place on 8 January 2018 at 19:30 in the hall on Wallstraße. The second training session is always on Wednesdays from 6.00 pm (with supervised training until 7.30 pm). We have been able to recruit an experienced, very good player as a coach for the new year. Just come and join us! We are always looking for new players, also for our league teams.

Outlook for the 2017/2018 season

We are back with one women's and two men's teams!

In the clicktt you will find an overview of all dates,

as well as the current tables and fixtures: Ladies, Men 1, Men 2

Successful 2016/17 table tennis season

The season in the table tennis district league ended unusually early this year. And although there was no promotion to celebrate for the first time, it was still a good season for our three teams.
In its fourth season overall, the women's team once again competed in the Dachau/Munich North District in the 1st District League and achieved an excellent third place. They were more successful than in the previous season. The team was even able to inflict the only two defeats on the champions from Bergkirchen and missed out on the runner-up title by just one point! The best players were Antje (6th place in the player rankings), Sibylle (7th) and Natascha (14th).

Both men's teams played their third season in the Munich West district. Team II had to compete in the 4th District League West, which was significantly better occupied due to the reorganisation. So 7th place - and thus staying in the league - can be seen as a great success. Especially when you consider that three important players had to leave the team compared to the previous season. The best players were Hanns (5) and Rainer (12).

Team I, on the other hand, was unable to achieve its self-imposed goal of immediate promotion. However, 5th place in the 4th District League South sounds worse than it is: with a win in the last game of the season, promotion would even have been achieved. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite enough and they ended up just one point behind 2nd place! The best players were San (2), Carsten (5) and Chris (26).

After a summer break, the new season will start in September. Training will of course continue: Mondays at 7.30 pm, Tuesdays at 7.00 pm and Wednesdays at 6.00 pm (except during the Whitsun and summer holidays). Just come along! We
are also always on the lookout for players to join our teams.

Successful conclusion to the preliminary round

At the end of the preliminary round, Team Men I Despite the departure of two important players, the team finished in third place (out of 10 teams) with 13:5 points, just one point behind the promotion target!

With 6:12 points from nine games, Team Men II in 7th place among 10 teams. After a good start with 3 wins, things unfortunately went a bit downhill, but we are still 5 points ahead of the relegation places.

The Ladies The second team got off to a bad start, losing two games and drawing one, but then improved and won two games to take third place (out of six teams) with 5:5 points.

After the Christmas break, the women's team and men's team I start the second half of the season on 10 January. The first game of Team Men II is on 1 February.

Our home games take place in the school gym at Implerstr. 35. We are happy about fans!

New players with table tennis experience are very welcome to join our teams (contact: tischtennis@teammuenchen.de)

All results:

Ladies: District league Dachau/Munich-North

Men I: 4th District League South (in the Munich-West district)

Men II: 4th District League West ( in the Munich-West district)

Start of the 2016/2017 season

We are once again playing in the league with three teams and a total of 23 players.

Following the reorganisation of the district league in the Munich-West district, the 4th district league is now played in four subgroups instead of the previous three. The Men I play in the South subgroup, the Men II in West. The women play in the Dachau/Munich-North district, as there is no women's district league in the Munich-West district.

Ladies: District league Dachau/Munich-North

Men I: 4th District League South (in the Munich-West district)

Men II: 4th District League West ( in the Munich-West district)

The season starts for the Men's I team on 20 September. Three days later, the Men's II team also has its first home game. The women's team will then get into the action at the end of October.

Our home games take place in the school gym at Implerstr. 35.

We are happy about fans!

Successful conclusion to the preliminary round

Like the previous season, the recently concluded 2015/2016 season was very successful for our teams. The newly founded men's team II was able to celebrate promotion in its very first year. With only 2 defeats for the season and a 6-point lead over the runner-up, the championship in the 4th District League West was celebrated spontaneously in the hall after the last home game. Our Team Munich board member Rainer was also there as an interested spectator and supporter.

The men's team I entered its second season in the highly competitive 4th Kreisliga Nord. After a very good first round with 4th place, there was a small setback in the second half of the season due to injuries and player cancellations, so that the team ended up in 7th place. Nevertheless, a good result for a promoted team - they never had to deal with relegation.

The women's team was already in its third year - this time in the Munich North/Dachau district, Kreisliga 1, where they finished in a good third place in the six-team field! The draw against the sixth team in the Bundesliga, Schwabhausen, which was their only loss of points, was outstanding.

urkunde saison 2016 tischtennis

The best individual results in the respective leagues were achieved by (rankings in brackets): Sibylle (4) and Antje (8) in the women's division, San (3) and Hanns (5) in the men's II division, San (5) and Carsten (6) in the men's I division.

Even in their third year of participation in the BTTV tournament, all the players are still having fun and showing ambition. The players' unflagging diligence in training should also be emphasised - one of the reasons for their good performance. Training will continue on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the time when there are no matches until the summer holidays - and also on Fridays if there is sufficient demand. New players are always welcome - just drop by. After the holidays, all teams will start the next season.

Results of the 2015/16 preliminary round

The table tennis teams performed successfully across the board in the preliminary round of the league and exceeded all expectations!

The Ladies team has achieved 2nd place straight away after switching to the 1st District League Munich-North/Dachau. They even managed to inflict the only loss of points on league leaders Schwabhausen. The best players are Sibylle and Antje, who were among the 10 best players in the league.

The Men's Team I has reached an unexpected 4th place among 11 teams after the promotion to the 4th Kreisliga Nord, even the promotion is still possible! The best players here are Weihua and Carsten, who are ranked 3rd and 4th in the individual rankings.

Team II has almost surprised even more: Despite the loss of 3 top players (transfer to Team I), the team is at the top of the 4th Kreisliga West table without losing a single point and with a 4-point lead. The best individual players are San, Hanns and Rainer in 2nd, 4th and 5th place. 5 players from Team München are among the top 13 in the league!
Promotion is now the new goal for the second half of the season. The first match on the way there will take place on 15 January 2016 at home against Neuhausen VI.

The men's team will start the second half of the season on 29 January at PSV München V, while the women's team will play at home against Schwabhausen VI on 26 January.

Congratulations on such a great success!

The new table tennis season begins.

The new 2015/2016 season for Team Munich's table tennis teams begins in September.

The Ladies is already in its third season, but this year with only one team due to a number of departures.
This is the first time they have played in the 1st district league in the Dachau/Munich North district, as not enough teams were registered in the home district.
The team led by captain Natascha starts the season on 13 October at 7.30 pm with a home game against Schondorf.

The Men are entering their second season and are now performing with 2 teams in the season. Last year's promoted team will play in the 4th District League North of the Munich-West district, where the grapes are likely to hang quite high!
The season for the men's team I begins on 15 October with an away game at Kieferngarten II, before the home opener on 20 October at 7.30 pm against SC Au II.

Due to the great interest, team captain Amir was able to register a second team this year, which is now in the 4th District League West and thus takes the place of the promoted men's team.
It starts with an away game at Neuhausen VI on 16 September, with the first home game taking place on 25 September at 6.30 pm against Landesbank III.

Table tennis division: Successful in the district league!

The results of our table tennis teams at the end of 2014 are impressive.

At the end of the preliminary round, the men's team is in third place (out of eleven teams) in the Kreisliga 4 and was the only team to inflict a defeat on league leaders PSV München!
In particular, the team owes the good performance of our new number 1, Weihua. He is by far the most successful player in the entire league and has managed to win 19 times with only one defeat. Congratulations to him!
Everyone is still very enthusiastic, and the team is even starting the second half of the season with a new member.

The ladies have two teams competing in the district league.
After the preliminary round, they occupy good third and fifth places. The first team only lost out on an even better position due to a narrow defeat against the league leaders.
The second team has developed very well in its first year of existence and surprised everyone with a win against fourth-placed SNV München. Jennifer and Sibylle are the best players from both teams in the preliminary round.

The dates for the first games of the second half of the season have already been set: the men's team will play the "top game" against the league leaders on 13 January 2015 at 7.15 pm. The women start with the local derby I against II a week later, on 20 January 2015 at 7.15 pm.
