Harald has also completed further training in back yoga and will be available on first Tuesday of the month teach the two yoga classes in the gym on Schwanthalerstraße. Maximilian continues to teach the yoga classes there three to four Tuesdays per month.

Hatha yoga is a very popular form of yoga. Hatha yoga focuses particularly on the body, mainly through breathing exercises (pranayama) and various poses (asanas) that are held for several breaths. This not only strengthens and stretches the body; the asanas also have energetic effects.

In the Integral Yoga Maximilian's aim is to bring together different traditional yoga paths in a flexible way, tailored to the needs of the participants, in his own system, in order to develop all aspects of the human personality – body, mind and psyche – comprehensively and harmoniously.

VI. Handball on a team outing

The season is over. But that doesn't mean that the handball players are putting their feet up now. Our training continues, after all, the big handball tournament in Lyon is coming up in July. But we haven't just been playing sports indoors. On 10 May, we took part in the Team outing to Lake Tegernsee. From there, we set off on a hike in glorious weather, armed with plenty of drinks. It was a great opportunity to get to know the new team members better, and a few even ventured into the cold lake for a quick dip. Everyone enjoyed the trip, and we are planning more team events like this in the future.

Do you know anyone who would fit into our group, who is really keen on handball or would like to give it a try? We are currently looking for new players and a new coach. For more information about us, training times, halls and more, please visit our website. www.teammuenchen.de/handball

VIII. Streetboys: Full commitment, unfortunately without reward

In May, the Streetboys presented themselves as a united team with impressive fighting spirit – but despite strong performances the deserved reward was often not forthcoming. Several league matches were lost by narrow margins, even though our team put their heart and soul into competing against opponents at the top of the table. Particularly noteworthy are the passionate performances against two top teams in the league, in which Team Munich gave their all until the last minute and earned respect. The team wants to end the season on a high note with a win, before celebrating a well-deserved end to the season on 7 June following the division meeting.

IX. Badminton: Successful debut in the QuBali

Some members of the badminton division are competing as a team (Munich Sixpacks) for the first time this season in the Queer badminton league QuBali (www.qubali.de). The first match day took place in Düsseldorf on 17 May. Our team was placed in the highest performance class and performed well: defeats against Rainbow Skyliners Frankfurt and Sassy Smashers Cologne were offset by victories against Solero Hot Shots Cologne and OSC Pride Team Düsseldorf, meaning that the team currently stands at Third place The table states: https://www.meinspielplan.de/plan/KMCBV4?a=table

There is also a match report with pictures on the QuBali website: https://qubali.de/2025/05/22/vier-gewinnt-die-koenigsklasse-der-queeren-badmintonszene-versammelt-sich/

Incidentally, the match day for the second half of the season will take place on Saturday, 13 September, here in Munich!
