What is flag football?

Flag football is the non-contact version of tackle football. Five against five play on the field and instead of tackling each other, the players' flags are drawn. The aim is to score touchdowns by alternating the right of attack.

In the offence there is one thrower (quarterback), the remaining four receivers run predetermined short, medium or long routes and try to catch the ball.

The defence in turn tries to prevent a successful play by the offence. This is done, for example, by pulling the flag of the person with the ball.

What do I need to take with me to training?

Who can play flag football?

We are a FLINTA* team.

With or without previous experience: if you're keen on team spirit, exercise and fun in sport, you've come to the right place!

How and when can you do a taster session with us?

In training, we get to know the sport of flag step by step, week by week.

Among other things, we hone our ball-catching skills, repeat routes, rehearse moves, put on sprints, work on game strategies, train our throwing arm and practise pulling the flags.
