Competitions

We play in classes A, B+, B- and C. Our tournament is gender-neutral – all genders are welcome! We especially want to encourage FLINTA*, women, trans and non-binary players to join in. If you wish, you are welcome to register for a lower class. After a group stage, the tournament will move on to the knockout rounds. Please assess your playing strength realistically so that the tournament remains exciting and fair for everyone. We reserve the right to adjust the classifications if necessary.

Fairness

To ensure that the tournament remains exciting and fair for everyone, we ask you to assess your playing strength realistically. Everyone is responsible for choosing the appropriate playing class – anyone who does not provide accurate information may unfortunately be disqualified.

The classification is based on rules that are also common in other tournaments: the class is determined according to the level of the better player in LGBTIQ tournaments over the last three years (mixed or senate competitions are not taken into account). Winners of a gold medal at major LGBTIQ tournaments (with 200 or more participants) play one level higher. Those who have won more than five medals (1st to 3rd place) in total during this period will also be upgraded.

This ensures that all doubles pairs face the right level of challenge and that the tournament remains fair, fun and exciting for everyone.

Facilities

We play on a total of 12 courts. In classes A, B+ and B-, we play with natural feather balls, and in class C with plastic balls. The balls are provided.

Registration

To register, you will need the name of your doubles partner. If you do not yet have a partner, you can also sign up for a „blind date“ – we will then try to find someone for you. Please also provide the name of your club so that doubles players from the same club can be matched up later if possible.

The tournament management may merge playing classes or make changes to the schedule if necessary.

All registered participants will be informed of the exact playing times in good time.

The registration fee includes a packed lunch.
