Season
Successful start to the season: Team Munich sets the first accents!
The 2025 tennis season started with a bang for Team Munich! On May 11, our first team took on SC Freimann III and secured an impressive overall victory of 6:3. While SC Freimann III was successful in three singles matches, Team Munich dominated the remaining matches and showed an outstanding performance in the doubles matches, which gave them the decisive advantage and thus the victory.
But that’s not all! This year, for the first time, we are entering a second team, Team Munich II, in the Southern Bavarian Men’s League 6. The first match day took place on May 18 against SV Dietersheim. Team München II fought hard and managed to win a single match, while SV Dietersheim dominated the other matches and emerged victorious with an overall score of 5:1. Despite the defeat, we are proud of the tireless effort and passion of our players. With such commitment, we are confident that Team Munich II will continue to grow and shine as the season progresses.
We look forward to the challenges ahead and thank our players for their impressive performance on the pitch. Together we will strive for more victories and a successful season!

Who can play tennis in our team?
Tennis is one of the most popular sports in the world and you’ve always wanted to try it out or improve your skills?
Whether you’re an ambitious tennis player or a recreational player – you’ve come to the right place. We welcome everyone, whether beginners or experienced players, young or old.
How and when can you do a introductory training with us?
Anyone who would like to support us, strengthen us or simply join us for fun and enjoyment is welcome to join us at any time. If you are interested in joining us for a taster session, you are welcome to do so every second Wednesday of the month from 6 – 7 pm.
Introductory training sessions for those interested will be offered again in the coming season from May. We can only offer introductory training on Wednesdays.

Do we play in a league?
We will also be taking part in the Bavarian Tennis Association (BTV) league again this year and will be competing for points, points, points from May onwards. This year we will start with two teams in the league for the first time.
