I. From the Executive Board

Our Munich team get-together is thriving and growing. At the beginning of January, a dozen members met at LeZ to get to know each other, chat and enjoy a few drinks. It was a great start to the new year.

The next joint meeting is on 7 February from 7 p.m. We would be delighted to see even more members and friends at LeZ, Müllerstr. 26.

On Saturday, 15 March, This year's general meeting at the Sub in Müllerstr. You will receive an invitation shortly. II. New to Team Munich: Miniature golf

On Friday, 24 January, the division members met at 3D Neongolf for a relaxed game over 18 holes. During the cold season, the division meets once a month at one of Munich's three indoor mini golf clubs. In our summer season (May to October), we meet twice a month outdoors.

The next round will be held on Friday, 21 February, at around 6.30 p.m. at 3D Neongolf, Schwanthalerstr. 115. Guests, even those with little prior knowledge, are welcome to attend all events. In order to ensure prior Registration Please write to minigolf@teammuenchen.de until 19 February and try out mini golf.

III. Volleyball successes

Team Munich continues its winning streak in the Bavarian Association League.

The sixth match day took place in mid-January, and our team showed no weaknesses. Our team won 3–0 (25–11, 27–25, 25–23) against SF Harteck II.

[BEZ_MANDANT]

Our team didn't give the second opponent of the match day a chance either: Obermenzing III was ultimately defeated 3:0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:21).

Team Munich's winning streak continued on the seventh match day at the end of January: SF Harteck III lost to our team 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-12). Team Spielraum was equally outclassed, losing 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-11).

After 14 of 18 season games and 13 wins, Team Munich is clearly at the top of the table. top of the table and is slowly getting closer to promotion to the district league! The next match day is on 15 February. Further details have not yet been finalised.

IV. Badminton is also successful

Our two BBV league teams got off to an excellent start in the second half of the season: Munich Team I won 7–1 against SG Kolbermoor/Holzkirchen and 6–2 against SG Piding/Freilassing and now leads the table with 20:0 points!

Also Munich II team was very successful, winning 7-1 against TSV Murnau and 8-0 against TSV Haar. This puts the team currently on 17-3 points and only one point behind the leaders in second place in the table.

V. Handball players have started the new year

New year, new luck: On 12 January, we welcomed TSV München-Ost II to our first home game of the new year. Unfortunately, we conceded too many chances early on and found ourselves trailing 10-16 at half-time. In the second half, we fought back strongly against opponents who ran out of steam towards the end. However, it was only enough for a 27:31 Final result. Nevertheless, it was an exciting match in which we showed great fighting spirit!

A little later, we headed to our first away game of the year – against the handball players of ESV Neuaubing II. To cut a long story short: we lacked the necessary resources and lost decisively with 40:19. Ouch., but let's put it behind us and look to the future.

There wasn't much time to dwell on the last game against Neuaubing, as the next match was already scheduled for 26 January, this time against the handball players of HT München V. There was literally nothing to lose here, as the opponents are not ranked in the league. So it was time to try out a lot of things, especially since we had a full team of 13 players! The game ended in a 24:34 defeat, but we were able to gain a lot of experience and are highly motivated for the upcoming games!

We are already looking forward to the trip to Lyon, where this year's Eurogames will take place., where a mixed handball tournament will also be held. Let's see if they can make it as great as we did last year – the bar has definitely been set high!
