We are on the hunt!

We are looking for new players to strengthen our men’s league team for the 2024/2025 season. You should primarily enjoy handball, but also have some handball experience.

If you are interested, please contact handball@teammuenchen.de

We would also like to have a women’s team for next season.

We are looking for a new coach with immediate effect.

About us: We are a colourful crew consisting of a mixed hobby team and a men’s league team. In addition to the league, we take part in the Euro Handball Pride Championship every year.

If you are interested in coaching us, please contact handball@teammuenchen.de

Main Training: Where and when do we train?

We train every Wednesday from 20:00 to 21:30 near Karl-Preis-Platz and Innsbrucker Ring at Führichstraße 53 (entrance Kirchseeoner Str. 7).

Our main training is in a normal handball hall with all facilities.

Extra Training: Where and when do we train?

The hall for our extra training is smaller and is located near Josephsplatz at Arcisstraße 65 (entrance from Agnesstraße). We train here on Mondays from 8.30 to 10 pm.

The number of players is limited due to the smaller size of the hall.

Where and when do we play matches?

Our home games for the 2024/25 season are played near Ostbahnhof at St.-Cajetan-Straße 33.
You can find our league schedule here: Table
Come and cheer us on, we’re looking forward to your support!

Our training vision?

The training is currently managed by several players forming a Coach Group, as we are still looking for a new coach.

If you are interested in being our coach us, please contact handball@teammuenchen.de

As each of us has a different level of experience, the focus during training is on training and improving you as a player both individually and together as a team. Sometimes we split into two groups during training so that the league team and the other players can do different exercises at the same time.

However, our focus is definitely on having fun with handball!

What does our year look like?

We take part in an FLINTA / LGBTQ+ tournament every summer, the Euro Handball Pride Championship. The venues always change between different major European cities where we have our handball friends, such as Madrid, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, Budapest, Lyon and Paris, to name a few. This trip is always one of the highlights of the year and at these tournaments we also meet our LGBTQ+ handball colleagues and friends from all over Europe. We are also always open to spontaneous tournaments if time and location allow.

We have a dedicated team for social events and outside the training hall we meet about 6 times a year for organised events such as hiking, bowling, Oktoberfest, etc. We also meet up spontaneously for a night out and go partying together.

Team spirit is not only formed by playing handball together, it is also important to meet up outside the hall!

What we offer?

We offer a social and safe handball environment where everyone is welcome!

We highly value the importance of keywords such as diversity, commitment, motivation and team spirit. We offer handball training that is structured and goal-oriented, focusing on the improvement of individual players. It is important to us that we train with the aim of getting better as a handball team, but we never lose sight of the all-important fun factor.

We also come together outside of training sessions at social events and fun tournaments to experience unforgettable moments!

We also offer interested male players the opportunity to join our league team with games at the weekend.
